Britain’s championship Liverpool soccer team has just paid Tel Aviv’s Maccabi club IL 10 million ($400,000) for one of its best players, 21-year-old Avi Cohen. Cohen played a test game with the Liverpool squad in England last month and they decided that the dark-haired Israeli youth was well worth the price.
