Britain’s trade union leaders have “a complete understanding of Israel’s position,” Aharon Becker, secretary-general of Histadrut, Israel’s federation of labor, declared here upon his returning from a visit to England.
Mr. Becker addressed the British Trade Union congress during his visit, and also conferred with members of Britain’s Cabinet, who belong to the Labor Party, and with other leading personalities in Britain. Mr. Becker said that a delegation of British trade union leaders will come to Israel in the next few days to study Israel’s problems at first hand.
