British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw began two days of talks with Israeli and Palestinian leaders. Straw was scheduled to speak Wednesday with Israeli Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority leader Yasser Arafat. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who has the flu, canceled a meeting with Straw.
