British Scientists Study Immigration Question

The Scientific Workers’ Association has decided not to encourage admission of foreign scientists into the country pending an inquiry regarding unemployment among British scientists, but, for humanitarian reasons and in view of the possible beneficial effect on British science, will favor removal of entry restrictions if the results of the inquiry are favorable.
