The 17th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising was marked here last night by ceremonies sponsored by the Federation of Jewish Societies of France, the Jewish Socialist Bund and other non-Communist Jewish groups. The meeting, which was attended by more than 800 persons, was addressed by Father Riquet, a Jesuit priest who, as a concentration camp deportee, came into contact with Jewish ghetto fighters.
A second commemoration meeting scheduled for tonight will be sponsored by Jewish Communist organizations. An attempt made more than a month ago to organize one communal meeting for the commemoration ceremonies, proved fruitless.
