Chancellor and Mrs. Willy Brandt gave a private dinner party at their home here last Thursday in honor of Israeli Ambassador and Mrs. Eliashiv Ben Horin. A number of prominent figures were among the guests. Diplomatic sources noted that such invitations are rare and this particular one underlined the importance Brandt attaches to relations with Israel. The Chancellor and his wife have said that they look forward to their trip to Israel June 7-11. They were there last in 1960 when Brandt was president of the German Municipalities Association.
