A warning against being made the victims of the propagandists who are touring the United States and who are speaking in the interest of the Nazi government, was issued in a bulletin broadcast all over the country from its Chicago head-quarters by the Anti-Defamation League.
The statement says in part:
“Some of these propagandists are veiling their purposes in false announcements. This enables them to reach considerable numbers.
“It is impossible to keep track of all of them. There are certain conspicuous figures, however, whose names should be known to you. Among these are Prof. Schoeneman, Dr. Colin Ross, Prof. Dr. Otto von Vollbehr, Col. Edwin T. Emerson, T. St. John Gaffney, Dr. A. E. Strath-Gordon, Col.Edwin Marshall Hadley, Dr. Bruno Roselli and many others.”
The League’s letter explains that these men do not book their engagements through any recognized agency and therefore it is difficult to follow their activities in that manner, but warns all Jewish and non-Jewish organizations in the country to beware of their offers to deliver talks.
