“On the basis of natural law, we must live together as a Jewish group,” declared Israel Chipkin, executive secretary of the Jewish Education Association, at the last meeting of the Metropoltan Association of Jewish Center Workers at the Y.W.H.A., 31 West 110th Street.
The Jews must keep together because “of our common origin, common experience, common faith and destiny,” he added, “Religion and Education as Effectuating Forces in Jewish Communal Life” was the subject of his address.
Other speaker included E. J. Londow, field secretary of the Jewish Welfare Board, A. W. Ruson thal, executive director fo the Bronx Y.M.Y.W.H.A., and Mrs. Belle Needies of the Crime Prevention Bureau.
