City Grants Passover Leaves to Its Employes

The Board of Aldermen yesterday adopted a resolution granting Jewish employes of the city leave of absence April 18 and 25 for the observance of the Passover holidays. The resolution was introduced by Alderman Murray Stand.

Julius Eichberg served as conductor of the orchestra of the Boston Museum in the 1860’s and later founded the Boston Conservatory of Music.
