The establishment of the P.E.C. Diamond Corporation, in which the Palestine Economic Corporation and Jacques Torczyner will jointly undertake to increase the sale and distribution in the United States of diamonds manufactured in Israel, was announced here today.
The new company will act as agent for Israel diamond manufacturers. The United States imports annually nearly $10,000,000 worth of diamonds manufactured in Israel. Diamonds are Israel’s largest single export to the United States.
