Plans are being completed by a group of prominent New Yorkers for a dinner on January 22nd in honor of Bernard S. Deutsch, President of the American Jewish Congress, and recently contestant for a judge’s seat on the Independent Judges Party ticket.

This dinner is being tendered by Mr. Deutsch’s friends and colleagues for his many services to the Community and Bar of New York City, and his services to the Jewish people.

Mr. Deutsch has been President of the American Jewish Congress since 1929; is a former President of the Bronx County Bar Association, and at present Chairman of its Board of Directors. He is a member of the Executive Council of the New York State Bar Association, and of the Board of Directors of the New York County Lawyers Association.

The dinner will be held at the Hotel Commodore under the auspices of a committee headed by George Z. Medalie, United States District Attorney.
