Connec Ticut Requires Labelling of Kosher-slaughtered Poultry

All poultry slaughtered for marketing in kosher butcher shops must bear a special label indicating that it was kosher slaughtered. Connecticut’s Police Commissioner Edward J. Hickey has announced. He warned that owners of kosher butcher shops or markets in which poultry without the kosher label are found will be prosecuted.
