Costa Rican President Francisco Orlich was among the Government officials, diplomats and civic and Jewish communal leaders who took part here today in ceremonies inaugurating a new school hearing the name of the State of Israel, on the eve of Israel’s 16th anniversary. President Orlich hailed the cooperation and the joint destiny of Costa Rica and Israel, noting that they were both linked with the “strongest ties of friendship.”
