Demands Rabbis Act As Teachers Without Pay

Teachers of religion in the Jewish schools will not receive salaries from the Ministry of Education, according to a new policy announced today.

The Ministry of Education made it known that the rabbis must act as teachers without pay from the Ministry or the Parents Association will be compelled to pay teachers salaries from its own funds.
