Democracy Group Holds Coughlin Stirs Anti-catholic Feeling

The Friends of Democracy has begun distribution of a 28-page brochure entitled: “Father Coughlin: Self-Condemned,” which accuses the Detroit priest of provoking anti-Catholic sentiment, “inciting to riot and revolution” over the radio and making “vicious assaults on minority groups,” National Director L.M. Birkhead announced today.
