Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman said he believes Americans will not vote for or against him based on his faith and that there has not been too much focus on his religion. Appearing on NBC’s “Today” show, Lieberman, an Orthodox Jew, also said his observance of Shabbat would not interfere with his duties as vice president.
