To avoid any incident which might lead to a conflict between Germany and Denmark, the Danish government today prohibited a lecture scheduled here by Joseph Goebbels, Berlin leader of the National Socialist party. Goebbels had been invited by a Danish Fascist student organization. In banning the lecture the government followed the opinion of the local press which feared that the lecture might lead to a clash.
