There is no bar against the importation of Hebrew books to Soviet Russia without reference to their contents, according to a statement issued by the Soviet Embassy here to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
The Embassy denied a newspaper report to the effect that such a prohibition existed.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
