A total of $82,816 or 73 percent of the capital of 922,000 zlotys ($103,448) will be lost by many Jewish artisans as a result of the liquidation of the Jewish Artisans’ Bank. After a stormy meeting an acting committee was elected to attempt to rehabilitate the institution. While the balance sheet shows this large loss to the depositors other cooperative banks will not be affected by the liquidation of the Jewish Artisans Bank.
