Two interesting functions were held here marking the departure for Palestine of 12 Detroit boys and girls. One of the functions was a farewell for Ephraim Ticktin of Hashomer Hatzoir, the Zionist Youth organization, and another bade farewell to 11 boys and girls of the Chalutzim, the Pioneers, who are sailing for Palestine April 29. A group of adults is leaving for Palestine with the Chalutzim.
