The squabble between the Dies committee and the Justice Department broke into the open today when it was revealed that the committee had failed to give the department evidence in the forgery of letters bearing William Dudley Pelley’s signature. Chairman Martin Dies had announced three days ago that the evidence had been submitted to the department.
