On the House floor, Samuel Dickstein (Dem., N.Y.) today termed as “bunk” an article in Liberty magazine written by Joachim F. Paffrath, avowed former Nazi agent, who wrote that while a Nazi spy he had managed to secure a position of confidence in Dickstein’s office investigating Nazi activities. Dickstein added, however, that the series of articles pointed to a real danger in this country from agents in the employ of the German Government and stated the Dies committee should pay more attention to this phase of un-American activities.
