Governor Lehman, Mayor O’Brien and other public officials were among the guests at a testimonial dinner tendered to Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May by the Lawyers Club of the Brooklyn Federated Jewish Charities at the St. George Hotel, Brooklyn, Sunday night. The dinner celebrated Justice May’s completion of forty years as a member of the New York Bar and was in tribute to his leadership in the communal and philanthropic life of Brooklyn.

It was announced during the dinner that $10,000 had been raised by the guests toward the budget deficit of the Brooklyn Federated Jewish Charities.
