New anti-Semitic agitation in the Balti provinces is now assuming alarming proportions. The Cuzists have utilized a cabled communication from King Carol to make him out a sympathizer with the anti-Jewish movement. Having received an acknowledgement from the King to greetings they sent him, the Cuzists added the Swastika sign to the signature of the King’s secretary. Photostatic copies of this doctored letter were distributed among the gullible peasants in an effort to convince them that the King is supporting the Cuzists.

The trial of the anti-Semitic leader, Grabcius, was also utilized for an anti-Semitic demonstration in front of the court house. The police quickly dispersed the demonstrants.
