The Bucharest Students’ Central Organisation has sent a telegram to King Carol signed by its President, Traian Cotiga, which says: Your Majesty. The Christian Roumanian students of the University of Bucharest are of the opinion that the request made by Deputy Landau to be received in audience by Your Majesty in connection with the shooting of Communists in Soroca is an insult to the authority of the State, and of the Roumanian Army, as well as to Your Majesty. Laying this our submission before your Throne, we ask Your Majesty in the name of outraged Roumanian dignity not to grant this impudent request. Long live Your Majesty.
