Dr. Philip L. Seman has been appointed secretary of the Advisory Committee for the West Chicago Park Commissioners. Dr. Seman along with other members of the Advisory Committee will superintend the system which includes seventeen recreation parks, and field houses, comprising an investment of over fifteen million dollars. The purpose of the commission is to provide recreation facilities through its parks, playgrounds, and field houses to over one-third of Chicago’s population.
