Dr. Stjepan Steiner, the future Yugoslav leader Marshal Tito’s personal doctor during World War II, died Jan. 18 at the age of 90. In the spring of 1942, Steiner joined Tito’s Partisans. Soon he became head of the Central Hospital of the Partisan’s Supreme Command Military Headquarters.
