Dr. Stephen S. Wise, noted rabbi and Jewish leader, is today recovering from a slight relapse he suffered yesterday at the Hotel Breakers where he has been recuperating from a recent illness. After the relapse yesterday he was ordered to bed but is now resting comfortably and will be permitted to get up tomorrow.
Dr. Wise, rabbi of the Free Synagogue in New York, is 58 years old.
