Egyptian Foreign Minister Assails British and American Support of Israel

Egyptian Foreign Minister Saleh ed Din, speaking in the Egyptian Parliament last night, assailed American-British support of Israel, the New York Times reported today from Cairo.

Referring to the Egyptian blockade of Israel, the Minister said: “Our restrictions are defensive. We must defend ourselves against an enemy created by Britain.” Deputy Mohamed Belel charged the United States with the creation of a “fifth column” in Israel.
