Ehud Olmert vowed that a major West Bank settlement bloc would remain part of Israel. “I want to be clear on this: The Ariel bloc will be an inseparable part of the State of Israel no matter what happens,” the interim Israeli prime minister said Tuesday during an inspection of the West Bank security fence route.
