Dr. Albert Einstein was honored with an honorary degree here by the Swiss Institute of Technology in connection with that institution’s celebration of its 75th anniversary. The Institute is particularly proud that not only were some of Professor Einstein’s pre-war lectures delivered here but that he also obtained some of his technical education at the Institute.
The degree of honoris causa was conferred upon Dr. Einstein, who was present, in recognition of his scientific achievements and in grateful remembrance of his services to Switzerland and to the Swiss Institute of Technology.
