Emigration of Jews from Iran to Israel by Air Resumed

Air transportation of Jewish immigrants from Teheran, Iran, to Israel has been resumed and a plane carrying 64 newcomers, including infants, landed at Lydda Airport today. The new arrivals said that thousands of Jews still in Iran and awaiting an opportunity to emigrate to Israel, are living under difficult conditions.

Four Iraqi Jews arrested in Bagdad on charges of attempting to leave Iraq for Israel have been released and are en route to Israel via Cyprus, it was reported here today.
