Enemy Aliens Have Right to Sue in America, Supreme Court Rules

Even while the United States is at war with the countries from which they come, enemy aliens living here are fully entitled to bring lawsuits in our courts, an undivided Supreme Court ruled yesterday in an opinion by Justice Black.

The decision had the complete support of the government, for within ten days after a lower court held otherwise last January Attorney General Biddle issued an order assuring the privilege of suit to alien enemies.
