People classified as “enemy aliens” are to be evacuated from strategic areas along the Eastern coast in the same manner as this is being done on the West coast, it was stated here today by Earl G. Harr son, U.S. Immigration Commissioner.
Mr. Harrison added that loyalty boards should be set up to determine the friendly, doubtful and dangerous among the nation’s million aliens, the majority of whom, he said, had registered voluntarily and showed resentment at being termed “enemy aliens.”
