Epidemics Reported in Lwow, As Food, Fuel Shortage Grows

A special correspondent of Le Soir on the Rumanian Soviet frontier reports that epidemics have begun making their appearance in Lwow, Soviet-occupied Poland, because of shortage of fuel, food and water. Shops are completely empty and a kilogram of black bread is priced at the equivalent of $1, the correspondent said.
