Argentina has admitted Dr. Walter P. Schreiber, former Nazi general who was forced to leave the United States last month after his record of complicity in Nazi war crimes was revealed and widespread protest ensued.

The U.S. Air Force, which at one time employed Dr. Schreiber and was responsible for bringing him to the United States, made known this fact in a letter to Rep. Jacob K. Javits which also promised that the Air Force would not again “sponsor or otherwise assist him.”
