A former employee of the Israel Legation in Buda-pest was shot and killed by Hungarian frontier guards last week as he attempted to escape from Hungary into Austria, it was learned here today. His eight-year-old son was also killed and his wife and daughter of 14 wounded. The wife, who suffered a mental collapse following the shooting, and the daughter were reported to be patients in a hospital in the Hungarian town or Csorna.
The slain man was identified in the reports received here as Gabor Freud, who was a native of Hungary.
