Fear Arab Bankruptcies May Lead to Economic Depression

The growing number of bankruptcies among the leading Arab merchants of Jerusalem is causing fear in Jerusalem’s commercial circles that they may cause a serious general depression, the Daily Telegraph reports. A number of the bankruptcies are said to be fraudulent. Last week several Armenian merchants filed bankruptcy petitions.
