The first Hebrew book exhibit of major Israel publishers will open its cross-country tour at Congregation Shearith Israel (Spanish-Portuguese Synagogue) here on April 24, it was announced today. The tour, sponsored by the Histadruth Ivrith of America and the Department of Education and Culture of the Jewish Agency, will show Israel’s latest contributions to modern literature.
