French banking leaders said they welcomed a call by Prime Minister Lionel Jospin to speed an investigation into dormant accounts in French banks left over from the Holocaust era. Jospin made his call over the weekend at the annual dinner of CRIF, the umbrella group of secular French Jewish organizations.
