French public television has canceled an episode of its most popular police series because it could upset Jewish viewers. The fictional episode of “P.J.,” a police drama in its 12th year, deals with an arson attack at a Jewish school for which the police suspect Muslims.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
