Frenchman Sentenced to Year Imprisonment for Justifying Genocide

The French Court of Appeals has confirmed a sentence of one year’s imprisonment and a fine of 50,000 francs on Maurice Bardeche, who was found guilty of seeking to justify the crime of genocide in his book, “Nuremberg or the Promised Land.” The Court also awarded token damages to the Comited’Action de la Resistance and to the Federation of Jewish Volunteer Ex-Servicemen’s Associations.
