The appointment of George M. Hyman as Executive Secretary of Avukah, the American Student Zionist Federation, was announced by Rabbi Samuel M. Blumenfield, National President. Mr. Hyman will succeed James Waterman Wise who was elected Honorary Secretary of the Organization. Mr. Hyman has recently returned from Palestine. He holds a M. A. degree from Columbia University, was former director of club activities at the Central Jewish Institute and for the last two years served as assistant registrar at the Hebrew University.
