Dr. Walter Gercke, racial expert of the Ministry of the Interior, which is headed by Dr. Wilhelm Frick, addressed a large meeting today in Luna Park. Gercke declared that it was impossible for the Nazi regime to compromise on the Jewish question. “Nationality necessitates the strictest line of demarcation between alien and native races,” Gercke declared.

Gercke has been the leading Nazi protagonist of the race theory. His division in the Ministry of the Interior has, according to Gercke, a staff of more than 800 men busy tracing racial records of the inhabitants. The verdict of this office is accepted officially as proving or disproving the “Aryanism” of any questionable individual.
