German Jews Give Synagogue to Catholics in Bavaria

December 2, 1930
See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

The Jewish community of Pfalz in Bavaria today donated the synagogue in the town of Wattenheim, which is under its jurisdiction, to the Catholics of that town. The synagogue has not been used for a number of years. This action of the Pfalz Jewish community is due to the dissolution of the Jewish community of Wattenheim as a result of the removal of the Wattenheim Jews to the larger cities.
