The World Jewish Congress today sent an appeal to all its affiliates in 64 lands to mark the 21st anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising on April 9, “and keep alive the memory of the Ghetto fighters who perished 21 years ago.” The appeal noted that the commemoration date would coincide with the 27th of Nisan on the Jewish calendar.
