Hebrew University archaeologists have uncovered ritual baths and a large variety of artifacts on the site of the Hasmonean winter palace south of Jericho, it was reported by Ehud Netzer, head of the University’s Institute of Archaeology who was in charge of the excavations. The baths are the oldest yet uncovered.
