The Hebrew Immigrant aid Society has had much success in contacting relatives of Polish Jews here through letters transmitted by the JEAS-HIAS in Warsaw, it was stated here today. Where the letters do not give the addresses of the relatives, attempts are made to find them through newspaper advertisements and radio broadcasts. Many of the letters report death and destruction of property of Jews in Poland.
