In honor of his services to Jewish and other communal agencies the Staten Island Jewish Community Center will tender a testimonial dinner to Dr. Bernard N. Cantor, its president, on January 27 at the Community Center house. Dr. Canto has recently been appointed assistant to the Borough President of Richmond. Hon. Maldwin M. Fertig, counsellor to Governor Lehman, and president of the Metropolitan League of Jewish centers, will deliver the chief address.
