Hundreds of Palestinians held pro-Iraq demonstrations over the weekend in the West Bank towns of Hebron and Ramallah. The demonstrations, which have continued even after a diplomatic solution was apparently reached to defuse the crisis with Iraq, were widely viewed as a reflection of Palestinian discontent over the deadlocked negotiations with Israel.
